Witch.

The main figure in the legends and among the most common stories are that they scared the fishermen, hid their boats and played with their cast nets. Another of his antics was tying knots in the manes and tails of horses.

Legend has it that a witch is recognized for reaching out her left hand in greeting when she is introduced to someone. There is still a current belief that anyone who moves to Floripa should ask the witches for permission, in order to prosper and live well on the island.

pray against witches

Through the cross of Saint Saiman that I bless you
With the Holy Candle of the Good Friday
Thirteen rays have the sun, thirteen rays have the moon,
Demon jumps to hell that this soul does not   it's yours
Tosca, coarse, fly's tail,
Sting your feet and prick your ass
Over the bramble, under the roof,
São Pedro, São Paulo and São fontista,
Inside the house of St. John the Baptist
witch, great witch, do not enter this house
Not in this entire region, for all the Saints of the Saints
Amen.
