Witch.
The main figure in the legends and among the most common stories are that they scared the fishermen, hid their boats and played with their cast nets. Another of his antics was tying knots in the manes and tails of horses.
Legend has it that a witch is recognized for reaching out her left hand in greeting when she is introduced to someone. There is still a current belief that anyone who moves to Floripa should ask the witches for permission, in order to prosper and live well on the island.
